CM Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate the new headquarters of the Uttar Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority (UPSDMA) in Lucknow on Sunday (July 19). The building stands near the Dial-112 headquarters on Shaheed Path. The state government built the facility at a cost of more than ₹200 crore.

24×7 Emergency Operations Centre

The new headquarters will serve as a modern disaster management hub for UP. It houses a State Emergency Operations Centre that will function around the clock. The centre will monitor emergencies across the state and improve coordination during disasters. Officials expect it to speed up response and decision-making in critical situations.

Modern Infrastructure for Training and Coordination

The building also includes an auditorium with a seating capacity of more than 200 people. It has classrooms, lecture halls, a hostel, and a library to support training and capacity building.

The government has also set up a Digital Command, Control and Coordination Centre. The facility will help officials manage disasters more efficiently through real-time monitoring and better communication.
