The Uttar Pradesh government has launched a statewide training campaign to improve digital education in government schools. The Basic Education Department will prepare a pool of master trainers who will help teachers use smart classrooms and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) labs more effectively.
Master Trainers to Lead Digital Learning
The department will identify and train selected teachers as master trainers. These trainers will later conduct district and block-level sessions to help other teachers operate smart classroom equipment, digital learning tools, and ICT labs.
Officials want every teacher to feel confident using technology during daily classroom lessons instead of treating digital tools as occasional teaching aids.
Focus on Better Classroom Experience
The training programme will cover the use of interactive digital content, smart boards, projectors, and ICT labs. Teachers will also learn how to integrate digital resources with the school curriculum and make lessons more engaging for students.
The government expects the initiative to improve classroom participation and make technology a regular part of teaching across government schools.
Statewide Campaign
The campaign will run across Uttar Pradesh through a structured training model. After completing their training, master trainers will guide teachers in their respective districts, creating a wider network of digital learning experts within the school system.
