CM Yogi Adityanath’s visit to Amroha gave a major boost to the district’s development and brought direct benefits to people. On Saturday (July 19), he addressed a large public gathering at Shri Venkateshwara University in Gajraula. During the event, he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 43 development projects worth more than ₹207 crore. He also met beneficiaries of different government schemes on stage and handed over financial assistance, keys, loan approvals, and other benefits. The event reflected the government’s focus on improving livelihoods and creating more opportunities for youth, women, farmers, and students.
Women Receive Homes, Financial Support and Better Opportunities
The event highlighted the government’s efforts to strengthen women financially and socially. Sangita from Gajraula block received the key to her new permanent house under the CM Housing Scheme, fulfilling her long-awaited dream of owning a home.
The government also encouraged women to become financially independent through self-employment. Kanchan from Jabda village received a loan along with the key to a tractor under the CM Yuva Udyami Yojana to expand her business. At the same event, Baby from Jajru Gram Panchayat received a cheque of ₹2.16 crore to support 144 women self-help groups. The financial support aims to strengthen these groups and create more livelihood opportunities for rural women.

Youth Turn Into Job Creators Through Self-Employment Schemes
The programme also showcased the CM’s vision of helping young people become entrepreneurs instead of job seekers. Under the CM Gramodyog Rozgar Yojana, Rinku Chikara received a loan certificate worth ₹10 lakh to start a dairy business. Deepak Kumar also received a ₹10 lakh loan certificate to begin a beekeeping venture.
Under the CM Yuva Swarozgar Yojana, Satyam Gola received a ₹10 lakh loan for a printing business, while Sachin Chaudhary received ₹5 lakh to open a new restaurant. These initiatives aim to promote self-employment and generate more local jobs.
Farmers and Students Benefit from Modern Technology
The Chief Minister also focused on agriculture, animal husbandry, and digital education. Under the Mini Nandini Krishak Samriddhi Yojana, Rajpal Singh received a subsidy certificate worth ₹11.80 lakh to support dairy farming. Prem Singh Arya, Director of a progressive farmers’ organisation, received a subsidy of ₹4.75 lakh to purchase a farmer drone and promote modern farming practices.
To encourage digital education, Jeevika Agrawal, a meritorious student from Dhanaura, received a laptop under the Chief Minister Bal Seva Yojana. The support aims to help students continue their education with better digital resources and prepare for future opportunities.
