Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi continues to keep a close watch on the state’s law and order situation. He regularly reviews security arrangements, especially when the state prepares for major events, festivals, and examinations.
Keeping upcoming festivals, national events, and important exams in mind, the CM will chair a high-level review meeting through video conferencing at 9:00 PM on Tuesday from his official residence in Lucknow. Senior officials from across the state will take part in the meeting.
Focus on Yoga Day, Muharram and NEET Examination
According to officials, the meeting will mainly focus on maintaining security and administrative preparedness for sensitive upcoming events.
For the International Day of Yoga, the government will review security arrangements, cleanliness, crowd management, and the smooth conduct of mass yoga programmes across the state.
During Muharram, officials will focus on maintaining peace and communal harmony. The CM is expected to direct district administrations to hold meetings with peace committees, inspect procession routes, and ensure effective coordination among departments.
The meeting will also review preparations for the NEET examination. Authorities will discuss steps to secure examination centres, prevent any paper leak incidents, activate intelligence networks, and ensure smooth transport facilities for candidates.
Top Officials Across UP to Join the Meeting
The importance of the meeting is reflected in the large number of senior officers who will participate. The Additional Chief Secretary (Home) and the Director General of Police (DGP) will remain present with the CM in Lucknow.
Through video conferencing, all ADGs, IGs, DIGs, Divisional Commissioners, District Magistrates, Police Commissioners, and Superintendents of Police from across Uttar Pradesh will join the review.
Civic Departments Also Put on Alert
The government has also directed senior officers from key public service departments to attend the meeting. Officials from health, education, energy, transport, public works, urban development, food and civil supplies, panchayati raj, agriculture, tourism, forests, and AYUSH departments will participate.
The CM is likely to review arrangements related to uninterrupted power and water supply, road maintenance, healthcare services, and other essential public facilities to ensure smooth management during the upcoming events and festivals.
