Today (May 29), Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Mau district to inaugurate the Gramin Sainik Hospital in Tajopur. During the event, he also launched and laid the foundation stones for 114 public welfare projects worth more than ₹392 crore. A large number of people attended the programme.
Addressing the gathering, CM Yogi said that great work for society and the nation becomes possible when every citizen works with the spirit of “Nation First.” He praised Brigadier Dr. P.N. Singh for building the modern hospital and congratulated the people of Mau. He said the government is focusing on bringing better healthcare facilities to rural areas.
The CM said institutions like hospitals, Sainik Schools, public schools, pharmacy colleges, nursing colleges and ITIs not only provide education and healthcare, but also create employment opportunities for local youth. He said such institutions strengthen the foundation of development in any district.
CM Yogi also spoke about the contribution of soldiers and police personnel. He said people sleep peacefully because soldiers remain alert in the freezing conditions of Siachen and police personnel patrol day and night to ensure public safety.
Referring to Lord Ram, the CM said that Shri Ram is an inspiration for everyone and represents discipline, values and ideals in life.
Targets SP Over Law and Order
During his speech, CM Yogi targeted the Samajwadi Party over law and order. He said that earlier, mafias and criminals used to capture the land of poor people by force, but now criminals know that strict action and bulldozer action will follow if they break the law. He added that mafias can no longer openly threaten people as they did in the past.
The CM also referred to the 2005 Mau riots. He said people of Mau have not forgotten the violence and tension of that period. He alleged that under the previous government’s protection, mafias had tried to disturb peace and create fear during religious events.
