The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has received more than 1,000 applications for the post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. The Trust had invited applications for the newly created position to strengthen the temple’s professional administration. The application window closed on July 18 after attracting candidates from across the country.
Three-Member Panel Starts Scrutiny
A three-member selection committee has begun examining every application. The panel will verify whether candidates meet the eligibility criteria and possess the required administrative experience. After the screening process, the committee will shortlist suitable candidates for interviews or one-on-one discussions. It may also conduct online interviews for applicants who cannot attend in person.

Final Recommendation to Go Before the Trust
The committee will recommend three names to the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust after completing the scrutiny and interview process. The Trust will make the final decision on the appointment of the temple’s first CEO. Sources said the selection panel aims to complete the process in a transparent and merit-based manner.
CEO to Oversee Temple Administration
The CEO will supervise the Ram Mandir’s day-to-day administration and ensure smooth management of the temple complex. The officer will also work to maintain the faith and confidence of millions of devotees visiting the shrine. The Trust created the post to introduce a more structured and professional management system as the number of pilgrims continues to grow.
