The administration has started action against the house of Asad, the main accused in the murder of Class 11 student Surya Chauhan in Ghaziabad’s Khoda area. On Monday (May 1), a team of officials reached the property, and they are planning to bulldoze the house of the accused.
They found the gate locked and pasted a notice on the entrance.
Officials said that the house stands on land occupied illegally. The notice directs Asad’s father, Nawab, to appear before the SDM office within 15 days and submit his response. Authorities also asked him to remove the alleged encroachment voluntarily, otherwise the building will be bulldozed after that.

Khoda Municipal Council Chairman’s husband Amarpal Sharma met Surya’s family and announced several actions for their support. He said the municipality would provide a job to Surya’s elder brother. He also promised a complete waiver of any municipal taxes on the family’s house.
Sharma said the municipal board would bring a proposal to name a road or a public square after Surya. He described the incident as deeply tragic and condemned the murder.
