Real estate developer Omaxe Limited has announced a major expansion into the hospitality sector with plans to develop 19 hotels over the next four to five years. The company will invest around ₹6,200 crore to build hotels in high-growth cities, pilgrimage destinations and key transit corridors. The move marks Omaxe’s entry into a dedicated hospitality business vertical and strengthens its long-term growth strategy.

Uttar Pradesh will receive the biggest share of this investment. Omaxe plans to build 12 hotels across the state. The portfolio includes two hotels in Ayodhya, three in Lucknow, one each in Prayagraj, Ghaziabad and Gorakhpur, two in Kaushambi and two in Vrindavan. The company aims to tap the growing demand for quality accommodation in cities that continue to attract tourists, pilgrims and business travellers.

Expansion Across Five States

Beyond Uttar Pradesh, Omaxe will develop one hotel each in New Delhi, Faridabad and Ujjain. It will also build four hotels across Chandigarh, Amritsar and Ludhiana, including two properties in Chandigarh. Overall, the company plans to expand its hospitality presence across 13 cities in five states.

In its regulatory filing, Omaxe said it proposes to invest approximately ₹6,200 crore over the next four to five years. The company will move ahead with the projects after securing the required regulatory and project-specific approvals while keeping market conditions in view.

Hospitality to Complement Existing Projects

Omaxe expects the new hospitality vertical to generate more than ₹1,000 crore in annual revenue after the portfolio reaches stable operations. The company noted that this estimate depends on project execution, occupancy levels, market conditions and regulatory approvals.

The developer also plans to integrate the new hotels with its existing townships, mixed-use developments, commercial centres and urban infrastructure projects. By combining hospitality with its real estate portfolio, Omaxe aims to create integrated destinations that serve residents, businesses and visitors while strengthening its presence in India’s fast-growing hospitality market.
