Amid growing discussion over the electricity crisis in UP, CM Yogi Adityanath defended the state government and said power supply is continuing across the state. He said that if shutdowns happen at power stations, people should also give the department some time to fix technical problems. According to him, the electricity department is working continuously to manage the situation.

The CM said he personally reviewed the power situation in meetings with officials. He added that handling the crisis is not only the responsibility of the Power Corporation, but also the responsibility of citizens. He appealed to people to support the department during this period instead of creating panic.

CM Shares Flower Pot Theft Incident

CM Yogi shared an unusual incident from Lucknow and said CCTV cameras captured a person stealing a flower pot from a public place. According to him, the person came in a luxury car worth around ₹2.5 crore and stole a pot worth only ₹45.

Calling it a “new model of theft,” he said the person spent more money on fuel and effort than the actual cost of the flower pot. He added that the person could have simply bought a new pot instead of stealing one. The Chief Minister also joked that he once thought about putting the accused person’s photo at a public square as a warning for others.
