In Ayodhya, the push to modernise public healthcare infrastructure has now extended to hospital food services. Under the Yogi Government, Shri Ram Hospital has introduced a high-capacity roti maker machine aimed at improving meal arrangements for patients and their attendants.
With thousands of devotees arriving daily in Ayodhya for darshan at the Ram Mandir, the city’s medical facilities have been witnessing increased footfall. Seasonal fluctuations and rising crowds often lead both local residents and visiting pilgrims to seek treatment at Shri Ram Hospital. In response, the hospital administration has upgraded its kitchen with an advanced automated roti-making unit to ensure faster and more efficient food service.
1,500 Rotis in Just One Hour
The newly installed machine can prepare nearly 1,500 rotis in just one hour. Hospital authorities say this will enable the timely distribution of fresh, hygienic, and satvik meals to admitted patients as well as their caregivers. Earlier, food preparation required considerably more time, often putting pressure on kitchen operations during peak demand.
Girish Pati Tripathi, who inaugurated the machine, said the initiative is part of efforts to strengthen facilities for those admitted to the hospital and their attendants. According to him, the addition of the roti maker will help ensure that a larger number of people receive pure and orderly meal service without delays.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by administrative officer Y. P. Singh and the hospital’s CMS. Speaking on the occasion, Y. P. Singh said the decision was taken after internal discussions over delays in meal preparation. With the new setup operational, the hospital expects food service to become significantly smoother, especially during high patient inflow.
The installation reflects a broader administrative effort in Ayodhya to align healthcare services with the city’s rapidly expanding religious tourism and public demands in UP under CM Yogi.
The UP government is taking major steps to modernise Ayodhya and bring all necessary infrastructure to ease devotees’ visits to Ram Nagari Ayodhya.
