UP CM Yogi Adityanath inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 126 development projects worth more than ₹378 crore during a major public event in the Rudauli Assembly constituency of Ayodhya district. He also unveiled a statue of freedom fighter Veerangana Jhalkari Bai.
Addressing the gathering, the CM spoke strongly on the allegations of donation theft linked to Ayodhya. He said people should not try to defame the city, which witnessed a 500-year-long struggle for the construction of the Ram Temple.
CM Responds to Donation Theft Allegations
Yogi Adityanath said anyone who has evidence of donation theft should submit it to the Special Investigation Team (SIT). He assured the public that the government would conduct a fair investigation and take strict action if it finds anyone guilty.
The Chief Minister accused opposition parties of spreading allegations without proof. He said some of the same people had opposed Ram devotees in the past and had taken positions against Lord Ram.
He urged everyone to wait for the investigation report and avoid making statements that could damage someone’s reputation. He said no guilty person would escape punishment, and the truth would come out soon.
“Do not insult Ayodhya through unnecessary allegations. If anyone has proof, give it to the SIT. The investigation will reveal the truth,” he said.

Three New PAC Battalions for Women
During his speech, the CM also highlighted the government’s efforts to honour national heroes and women freedom fighters. He said the state has launched several initiatives in the names of Maharani Lakshmibai, Maharani Durgavati, Avanti Bai Lodhi, Jhalkari Bai and Uda Devi.
As part of this effort, the government has formed three new Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) battalions named after Veerangana Avanti Bai Lodhi, Jhalkari Bai Kori and Veerangana Uda Devi Pasi.
The Chief Minister announced that these three battalions will recruit only women, creating new opportunities for daughters across the state while honouring the legacy of these brave women.
