CM Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the biggest employment event in Uttar Pradesh, Rojgar Mahakumbh 2025, which began in Lucknow on Tuesday (26 August). The three-day fair will run from 26 to 28 August at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, Gomti Nagar. The state government claims that the event will create over 50,000 job opportunities. Officials link the fair with the government’s employment and industrial growth policies.
150 companies take part
More than 150 reputed companies are participating. Global giants like Microsoft, Flipkart, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Mahindra are among them. Companies are offering jobs in artificial intelligence, software development, cloud computing, hardware design, e-commerce, logistics, data analytics, banking, financial services, hospitality, manufacturing, and the automobile sectors.
For the first time, the fair also offers 15 positions abroad, opening direct international job opportunities for youth.
Opportunities for all levels
The fair is not limited to highly qualified youth. Opportunities are open for candidates from class 8 pass to postgraduates. The age limit is 18 to 40 years. Assistant Director of Employment, Suryakant Kumar, said candidates from all districts of Uttar Pradesh can apply.
Registration process
Applicants must register on the rojgaarsangam.up.gov.in portal. Those without prior registration can also apply at the venue through on-the-spot registration.
Candidates must carry Aadhaar card, educational certificates (original and photocopy), and a resume. On arrival, they need to scan a QR code and then approach company stalls to apply based on their skills.
The registration and job process is free of cost. For assistance, candidates can call the toll-free number 155330.
Key attractions
The fair offers several special features this year. An AI Training Pavilion will train youth in digital skills and artificial intelligence-based employment. A Skill and Employment Exhibition will showcase government schemes and future skills.
There are also on-the-spot interviews and placement drives, giving candidates a chance to get selected immediately. A special Employment Conclave will bring experts and industry leaders together to discuss future opportunities.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is leading this initiative. The government aims not only to provide jobs to youth but also to boost industrial development, attract investment, and support Uttar Pradesh’s economy. Officials believe that regular events like this will generate jobs and make UP more attractive for investors.
How to reach Indira Gandhi Pratishthan
The venue is located in Vibhuti Khand, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, and is well connected with the city.
- From Charbagh Railway Station: around 10–12 km. Take the Red Line Metro to Munshipulia station (2–3 km from the venue). Auto or e-rickshaws are available from there.
- From Alambagh Bus Terminal: around 12–14 km. Taxis, autos, and city buses to Gomti Nagar or Munshipulia are available.
- From Amausi Airport: around 20–22 km. Prepaid taxis, cabs, or Metro from Amausi station to Munshipulia can be used.
