CM Yogi Adityanath to Inaugurate Noida Authority’s New Sector 96 Headquarters, Marking Major Administrative Upgrade

The new headquarters will replace the current system in which departments operate from multiple locations across Noida, including offices in Sectors 6, 19, 20, and 39. By shifting departments to one integrated campus, the Authority aims to reduce delays and improve coordination between different wings.

UP CM Yogi is expected to inaugurate the Noida Authority’s new administrative headquarters in Sector 96 on June 27. The modern office complex will serve as a central hub for the Authority and is expected to improve governance, coordination, and public service delivery across Noida.

Located near the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, the new headquarters represents a major administrative infrastructure project for the city. Officials say the complex will bring several departments under one roof, making it easier for residents, businesses, and property owners to access services.

Single Campus for Better Public Services

The new headquarters will replace the current system in which departments operate from multiple locations across Noida, including offices in Sectors 6, 19, 20, and 39. By shifting departments to one integrated campus, the Authority aims to reduce delays and improve coordination between different wings.

Residents who visit the Authority for property transfers, lease matters, building plan approvals, industrial permissions, grievance redressal, water and sewer issues, and other civic services are expected to benefit from the new arrangement.

Officials believe the centralised office will help streamline public interactions and improve the overall efficiency of administrative processes.

Landmark Project Nears Completion

The Sector 96 headquarters has been under development for nearly a decade. Construction began in January 2016 as part of a long-term plan to create a modern administrative centre for Noida.

The project faced several challenges, including delays during the COVID-19 pandemic and issues related to contractors. Despite these setbacks, the Authority completed the project and prepared it for inauguration.

The complex now consists of two towers spread across a six-acre site. Authorities revised the original design during construction and reduced the overall project cost from the initial estimate of ₹478 crore to about ₹390 crore.

Better Connectivity and Infrastructure

The new headquarters enjoys a strategic location along the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, offering improved connectivity to different sectors of Noida and nearby areas. Officials expect the location to provide easier access for residents and visitors.

While the existing administrative office in Sector 6 faces space constraints and parking shortages. Visitors often struggle to find parking, leading to congestion in the surrounding area. The new campus addresses these challenges with improved infrastructure and dedicated facilities.

The larger workspace will also allow departments to function more efficiently and provide a better environment for employees and visitors.

Yogi Government’s Focus on Modern Governance

The inauguration of the Sector 96 headquarters reflects the UP government’s emphasis on strengthening urban infrastructure and improving public administration. Under CM Yogi Adityanath’s leadership, the state has undertaken several projects aimed at modernising governance and enhancing citizen services.

Therefore, the new Noida Authority headquarters aligns with this broader vision by creating a centralised administrative system capable of supporting the city’s rapid growth and increasing service demands.

As Noida continues to attract investment, businesses, and new residents, efficient governance remains critical to sustaining development. The new headquarters is expected to play an important role in meeting those requirements.

Residents Await Transition Details

While the inauguration is expected on June 27, officials have indicated that departments may shift in phases. The Authority is likely to issue detailed instructions regarding the movement of offices and the commencement of public-facing services from the new building.

Residents have been advised to follow official announcements before visiting the Sector 96 complex for any work.

The inauguration will mark an important milestone for Noida’s administration, bringing a long-awaited project into operation and laying the foundation for more efficient public service delivery in one of UP’s fastest-growing urban centres.
