Yogi Slams Opposition in Bihar: ‘Pappu, Tappu & Appu — Alliance’s Three Monkeys Who Neither See nor Hear the Truth’

Yogi targeted the RJD, Congress, and Samajwadi Party, calling them anti-Hindu and anti-Ram. He accused Congress of questioning the existence of Lord Ram in the Supreme Court and said the Samajwadi Party ordered firing on Ram devotees in Ayodhya in the past.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed multiple public rallies in Bihar during the ongoing election campaign. Speaking in Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur, and Saran, he strongly criticised the opposition alliance and praised the policies of the NDA government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He spoke in support of NDA candidates and highlighted development work, religious sentiments, and law-and-order improvements.

Reference to Gandhi’s Monkeys and ‘Three New Monkeys’

Yogi Adityanath began his speech in Darbhanga by referring to Mahatma Gandhi’s famous three monkeys, who teach “see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil.” He alleged that today the INDIA alliance has produced “three new monkeys” whom he named “Pappu, Tappu, and Appu.”

According to him:

  • “Pappu” neither speaks the truth nor says anything good
  • “Tappu” cannot see anything good
  • “Appu” cannot hear the truth

He claimed the opposition leaders cannot see the development under the NDA government, cannot acknowledge it, and therefore spread misinformation and lies.

Appeal for Unity: ‘If We Divide, We Will Suffer’

Yogi reminded people of his earlier message: “If we divide, we will be harmed.” He urged voters to stay united and support the NDA. He assured that unity would bring prosperity to Bihar and development would continue. He emphasised that a united government at the Centre and the state is necessary for progress.

He delivered these remarks at a rally in Kewati, Darbhanga, supporting NDA candidate Murari Mohan Jha.

Attacks on the Opposition on Religious Issues

Yogi targeted the RJD, Congress, and Samajwadi Party, calling them anti-Hindu and anti-Ram. He accused Congress of questioning the existence of Lord Ram in the Supreme Court and said the Samajwadi Party ordered firing on Ram devotees in Ayodhya in the past.

He stated that parties opposing Ram and Sita (Janaki) automatically become opponents of the people who believe in them. He repeatedly stressed that the NDA protects faith and respects religious sentiments.

Allegations Against Congress: ‘Black History’

CM Yogi also talked about corruption and mismanagement during earlier Congress governments. He said that before the Modi government, money meant for the poor never reached them. Today, according to him:

  • The poor receive free rations
  • Healthcare is provided through Ayushman Bharat cards
  • Kashmir has been freed from terrorism after the removal of Article 370

He said that, after decades, a film star could safely shoot in Kashmir, describing it as a sign of peace achieved under the NDA.

Ram Temple Fulfilled, Janaki Temple Promise

Yogi reminded people that five years ago he had promised that a grand Ram Temple would be built in Ayodhya. “That promise has been fulfilled,” he declared, adding that Ram Lalla now resides in Ayodhya in a magnificent temple.

He announced that now the NDA government plans to build a grand temple for Goddess Sita (Janaki) in Sitamarhi, calling it a tribute to the faith of the people of Mithila. Good governance, he said, ensures respect for faith.

Double-Engine Government and Connectivity Improvements

Highlighting development, Yogi spoke about faster travel between Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. He said earlier it took 16 hours to travel from Ayodhya to Darbhanga, but now it takes only 45 minutes from Lucknow by air.

He also mentioned:

  • Construction of Ram-Janaki route
  • Development of rail, road, water, and air connectivity
  • Darbhanga airport’s growing links with major cities
  • Central government recognition to Makhana farming and support for the “lakh bangles” industry in Mithila

He stressed that only a double-engine government (same party in the state and centre) can accelerate development.

Allegations Against RJD: ‘Model of Loot and Crime’

Yogi accused the RJD of creating a model of corruption and lawlessness in Bihar in the past. He mentioned:

  • Booth capturing during elections
  • Road and pond “theft” (corruption in development works)
  • Kidnapping industry
  • Caste violence and massacres

He recalled that from 1992 to 2005, Bihar experienced widespread kidnappings, caste tensions, and fear. According to him, even children were not safe, and professionals like doctors and businesspeople lived in fear. He referenced the fodder scam and alleged mismanagement leading to farmers migrating out of Bihar.

He said RJD leaders used to resist building roads, worrying that police might use them to catch criminals.

Criticism of Rahul Gandhi and the INDI Alliance

Yogi accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of defaming India abroad. He said opposition parties cannot accept the development taking place and hence spread negativity.

He blamed the RJD government of the past for more than 70 massacres, caste riots, and banning festivals. He declared that only NDA brings peace and development.

Message to Bihar Voters

In his third rally in Saran, Yogi said he could not visit earlier because he was “dealing with mafia in Uttar Pradesh.” He spoke about action against criminals in UP and the promotion of peace.

He shared that Bihar and UP share historical ties since the Treta era and said he has come with blessings from Ayodhya and Janaki. He urged voters not to bring back “dynastic looters and mafias,” promising continued development under NDA rule.
