In Anchora Kamboh village, the administration has demolished the remaining part of an illegal mosque built on village community land, which had previously been left untouched by the villagers. This action was carried out under the leadership of Naib Tehsildar Deepak Jurail. Police were also present during the operation for security purposes. The Mosque was 35-year-old located 150 meters from Kalki Dham in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh.

Earlier, the villagers had promised the administrative team that they would dismantle the mosque themselves, and over time, they had demolished a significant portion of it. However, the prayer hall of the mosque had been left intact. After it was confirmed that the mosque was built on village community land, an eviction order was issued on September 24.

When the police and administrative team arrived at the site, the villagers again assured them that they would dismantle the structure on their own. Demolition work had started but was halted for several days. Consequently, on Tuesday (14 October), the remaining part of the mosque was brought down using a bulldozer.

Police has marked Red 80 Houses in Hatim Sarai

Meanwhile, in Mohalla Hatim Sarai of the Raisatti police station area, the threat of demolition hanging over 80 houses built on pond land has been temporarily averted. The High Court, while hearing the petition filed by the residents, has stayed the demolition process and directed the Tehsil administration to submit documents within four weeks.

The administration claims that these houses are constructed on land designated as a pond and that notices were issued demanding documentation. On the other hand, residents argue that they purchased the land between 2005 and 2012 from Ram Suniti Devi, and they possess sale deeds and approved house maps as proof. On October 8, the Tehsildar had marked 40 houses with red signs. Following this, the residents approached the High Court and also met with District Magistrate Dr. Rajendra Painsiya. The High Court has currently imposed a four-week stay on any demolition action, during which the administration is not allowed to carry out any demolition.
