Champat Rai, the General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra and Central Vice-President of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, initiated the offering of prasad to Lord Ram Lalla in Ayodhya Dham using special indigenous “Phool Dhatu” utensils crafted in Mirzapur.

Former regional organisation minister of VHP, Manoj Srivastava, contacted metal traders and manufactured indigenous “Phool Dhatu” utensils. From 77 kg of metal, 24 thalis, 72 bowls, 24 glasses, 24 plates, and 24 spoons have been crafted. On Sunday, Acharya Shashikant Malviya and Nitin Awasthi conducted a Vedic ritual with mantras at the Lal Diggi residence.

Ayurvedic Significance and Cultural Respect

They explained that skilled artisans used traditional techniques and a pure “Phool Dhatu” alloy containing minerals like copper, zinc, and tin in controlled Ayurvedic proportions to make the utensils for Ram Lalla. According to Ayurveda, utensils made of “Phool Dhatu” balance the digestive system, benefit the skin and liver. Eating from these vessels gives energy.

Food served in this metal can neutralise toxic elements, making the prasad purer and more health-giving. Skilled craftsmen, with centuries of expertise in creating indigenous utensils, made the work possible through their dedication and mastery. The aim of using “Phool Dhatu” vessels is not only to uphold tradition but also to honour Ayurvedic purity and Indian culture.

This initiative will uplift local industries and give renewed respect to indigenous craftsmanship. Present were: Amareshchandra Tiwari, Shyamdhar Pandey, Anand Agrawal, Anil Gupta, Ravi Purwar, Mahesh Tiwari, Ganesh Tiwari, Rudra Goswami, and Ashish Pandey.
