The day will be historic because it will also mark the official announcement of the Ram Temple’s construction. Through this flag hoisting, the Prime Minister will convey to the world that the construction of the grand temple has been completed.

Champat Rai entrusted with designing the flag’s form, colour, and symbol

Champat Rai, General Secretary of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, will decide the design, colour, and emblem of the flag. On August 5, 2020, Prime Minister Modi performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the Ram Temple. On January 22, 2024, Prime Minister Modi enthroned Lord Ram Lalla in the grand sanctum and performed the pran pratishtha (consecration) ceremony as the chief host. After the completion of the temple, the Prime Minister will hoist the flag on November 25.
