In Bareilly, the district administration has tightened action against Maulana Tauqeer Raza’s relatives and close aides in cases linked to the violence conspiracy. On Tuesday (30 September), a joint team of the Bareilly Development Authority (BDA) and Municipal Corporation carried out a big operation in Bankhana locality of Premnagar police area. Here, a bulldozer ran over SP councillor Oman Raza’s illegal charging station. It is alleged that the station was built by raising a boundary wall on a drain. The walls were demolished using machines. Another charging station of the councillor was running on stolen electricity, for which action was also taken.
Tauqeer Raza’s relative Detained
The administration has taken Maulana Tauqeer Raza’s relative Mohsin Raza Khan and his brother into police custody. Mohsin is the son-in-law of Mannani Mian. When the BDA and Municipal team reached Mohsin’s house for action, he clashed with the officers. Mohsin accused the Aonla BJP district chief, saying the entire matter is politically motivated. He claimed that he had left the IMC in 2005 and has no link with Tauqeer Raza now.
Relative Claims Distance
Mohsin clearly said that he has no relation with Tauqeer Raza. Moreover, He alleged that all this is being done under pressure from the BJP district chief. Earlier also, a cow slaughter case was filed against him. During the action, Mohsin’s father showed the court’s stay order, after which the team stopped work for some time. However, Mohsin and his brother were taken into police custody. The illegal charging station built on the drain in front of his house was demolished.
Tauqeer’s aide’s marriage hall Sealed
Meanwhile, the BDA team sealed the Humsafar marriage hall located in the Nariyawal area on Shahjahanpur Road. This hall belongs to Sharafat, a resident of the Sufitola area, who is said to be a close aide of Tauqeer Raza. The BDA team reached the hall with a heavy police force and locked it. Along with this, a notice was pasted stating that the action is being taken due to illegal construction.
