The Uttar Pradesh government has started a new initiative to involve people in shaping the future of the state. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has invited citizens to share their ideas and suggestions on the direction and development of Uttar Pradesh. For this, the government has launched the ‘Smart UP Portal’, (https://samarthuttarpradesh.up.gov.in), where people can send their suggestions online. Citizens can also scan a QR code to access the portal easily.
The government aims to ensure wider participation in policy-making so that development plans match the ground realities of the state. Along with common citizens, the government is seeking suggestions from experts, youth, and entrepreneurs. The initiative falls under the ‘Uttar Pradesh Vision 2047’ campaign. This campaign focuses on key sectors like education, healthcare, industry, agriculture, and employment.
Awards for Best Suggestions
CM Yogi Adityanath has assured that the government will recognise and reward useful suggestions that contribute to the state’s progress. These ideas will not only be included in future development plans, but their contributors will also be honoured. The government especially wants young people to come forward with innovative and practical ideas. These should reflect their aspirations.
Inclusive and Participatory Development
The Chief Minister emphasised that every citizen’s idea matters in building a self-reliant and prosperous Uttar Pradesh. By encouraging suggestions from all age groups and diverse backgrounds, the government wants to strengthen public participation in decision-making.
Through this initiative, the state government is trying to establish direct dialogue with the people. They aim to make citizens active partners in development. CM Yogi stated that the state’s young generation must get the opportunity to shape policies. These policies will create an empowered and opportunity-rich Uttar Pradesh in the coming decades.
