‘Remove Bogus Names, Keep Updated Records’: Dharmapal

BJP State General Secretary (Organisation) Dharmpal Singh, while addressing the Awadh region’s intensive voter revision (SIR) meeting on Friday, said that no effort should be left incomplete. He urged that just like during elections, BLA-2, booth presidents, and booth-in-charge workers should remain present at the booth every day and ensure that all voter verification forms are collected. They must also add new voters and remove names of deceased, shifted, or bogus voters, while keeping copies of all such lists.

He added that the SIR campaign is not only the responsibility of BLA-2, booth presidents, or booth in-charges, but a shared duty of all office-bearers, leaders, public representatives, and workers. The campaign must be carried out with the same enthusiasm as an election. Many supporters live around each booth, and they should be contacted and motivated to participate actively. Mandal presidents should have lists of all party workers present at each booth. Daily communication must take place between BLA-1, BLA-2, booth in-charges, and booth presidents, with clearly assigned tasks every day.
