Uttar Pradesh is emerging as a major hub for global manufacturing, as it may soon host Teema’s Technology Park, a large-scale technology and manufacturing project backed by the Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association (Teema).

According to sources, the proposed technology park is likely to be developed in the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) region. Notably, the site is close to Foxconn’s upcoming outsourced semiconductor assembly and test (OSAT) facility. As a result, the location is expected to support strong industrial clustering and supply chain integration.

Meanwhile, Foxconn chairman Young Liu, who also heads Teema, is leading the initiative. The plan is part of Teema’s broader strategy to build advanced manufacturing hubs in key global markets. In the first phase, India has been selected alongside the US, Mexico, and Poland.

Importantly, YEIDA has emerged as one of the frontrunners in India for hosting this project. The technology park is planned adjacent to Foxconn’s campus. Therefore, companies operating within the park are expected to benefit from shared infrastructure and manufacturing efficiencies.

The Teema project focuses on AI-integrated and ESG-driven manufacturing. In addition, it aims to export Taiwan’s successful technology park model to global markets. The initiative is also designed to bring small and medium enterprises into the global electronics supply chain.

Furthermore, Taiwanese engineering and construction firm CTCI is collaborating with Teema and Foxconn on the project. The partners have already begun responding to business and investment queries, indicating steady progress.

Overall, the proposed technology park is expected to strengthen Uttar Pradesh’s role in global electronics manufacturing. Consequently, the state is gaining recognition as a preferred destination for high-value industrial investments and advanced technology ecosystems.
