The chairman of the Ram Mandir Construction Committee, Nripendra Mishra, said that devotees from across India have donated over ₹3,000 crore to Lord Ram Lalla. Even after the year 2022, many devotees have continued to contribute generously, helping the construction work move forward steadily.
Invitation for Donors and Flag Hoisting Ceremony
The committee has decided that all donors who contributed after 2022 will also be invited to the upcoming flag-hoisting ceremony. To promote unity and participation, over 6,000 people will be invited to this grand event.
Honouring Contributors
Companies, suppliers, and workers who have contributed to the construction of the Ram Temple will also be honoured. After November 25, a grand felicitation ceremony will be held in the temple complex. During this event, all contributors will be presented with certificates of appreciation.
Preparations for Prime Minister’s Visit
According to Mishra, bills worth ₹1,500 crore have already been processed, and the total construction cost is expected to reach around ₹1,800 crore. Preparations for the flag-hoisting program are in full swing. The committee plans to invite Prime Minister Narendra Modi to perform the flag hoisting and visit the parikrama (outer boundary) and Sapta Mandir (seven temples) area.
The Prime Minister will also be informed about the murals and the design of the hermitage-like Sapta Mandir section.
Devotee Facilities and Darshan Route
The temple complex is being developed with special arrangements for devotees. At a time, around 5,000 to 8,000 devotees will be able to have darshan (viewing of the deity). The path from the main entrance to the south gate will take around 20 minutes, while walking up to Sugreev Fort will take about 40 minutes.
Three dedicated areas are being built near the boundary wall so that devotees can keep their footwear safe.
Memorials and Conservation
A metal memorial dedicated to the martyrs is being built in the Ram Temple complex and is expected to be ready by February 2026. The temporary temple, where worship was carried out earlier, will be preserved as a memorial, with an eternal lamp kept burning there.
Media Visit
On November 23, the temple complex will be opened for media representatives to visit and observe the preparations for the flag-hoisting event.
