Under the CM Janata Seva Yojana, the UP State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) will start new bus services on 19 routes in the Agra region from the New Year. Notably, six of these routes are connected to Mathura, aiming to improve rural connectivity.
According to officials, the new services are designed to make travel easier for people living in villages. As a result, the transport corporation plans to ensure that buses reach as many villages as possible under this scheme.
Regional Manager BP Agrawal said that the complete operational plan of these buses has been prepared online. Moreover, all data related to routes, number of trips, and schedules will be available digitally. He added that passengers will also get fare concessions under the scheme.
Importantly, the fare of these buses will be up to 20% lower compared to regular bus services. In addition, it will be mandatory for buses to halt in villages during their final trip of the day, ensuring last-mile connectivity.

The scheme also includes incentive provisions for drivers and conductors. Therefore, officials believe this will help in smooth and regular operation of the services.
Meanwhile, bus operations will cover routes such as Ladukheda–Kheria (Agra), Painsai–Khandoli, Idgah–Kagarol, Iradatnagar–Ladukheda, Brithala–Saiyan, Dhimishri–Shamsabad, Agra Fort–Shamsabad, Noorpur–Kundol, and Shamsabad–Fatehabad.
Similarly, buses will also run on Rudmuli–Kheragarh, Bateshwar–Firozabad, Kachoraghat–Bah, Bateshwar–Fatehabad, along with six separate routes in Agra and Mathura.
With the launch of these services, UPSRTC aims to provide affordable, accessible, and reliable transport to rural areas across the Agra region.
