The second anniversary of the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla at the grand Ram Temple will be celebrated with full splendour. The Ram Mandir Trust is preparing to mark the occasion as Pratishtha Dwadashi, which will be observed on December 31. Notably, the event will be special because the Trust plans to hoist flags on the shikharas of seven newly built sub-temples within the complex.
Earlier, on November 25, Prime Minister Narendra Modi hoisted the flag on the main shikhara of the Ram Temple during a historic ceremony witnessed by devotees across India and abroad. During that time, the Trust had initially planned to hoist flags on the seven other temple shikharas as well. However, the plan was postponed because finishing work on these structures was still underway.
Now, with all finishing and decoration work completed for the seven sub-temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, Surya, Ganapati, Hanuman, Mata Bhagwati, Mata Annapurna, and Sheshavatar, preparations are in full swing. Therefore, the Trust aims to complete the long-awaited flag-hoisting during the Pratishtha Dwadashi celebrations.

Defence Minister and CM Likely to Attend
According to Trust officials, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath are likely to attend the ceremony as chief guests. While the main celebration will take place on December 31, rituals will begin on December 27. During these rituals, the flags for the sub-temples will be worshipped, and several other ceremonies will also be performed.
Moreover, the design of the flags to be hoisted atop the sub-temple shikharas has already been finalised. Consequently, the upcoming event is expected to draw massive attention, as devotees eagerly await another landmark moment in the evolving history of the Ram Temple.
