Bageshwar Dham chief Dhirendra Krishna Shastri’s ‘Sanatan Ekta Padayatra’ entered its third day on Sunday (November 9). The march, which began from Delhi, is slowly moving toward Vrindavan via Haryana. On Sunday (November 7), renowned storyteller Aniruddhacharya also joined the yatra and participated in bhajans with Dhirendra Shastri. Both were seen waving saffron flags and walking alongside devotees.
Eating by the roadside; serving puri–sabzi to saints
During the yatra, Dhirendra Shastri and Aniruddhacharya were seen sitting by the roadside eating puris and potato curry. Shastri himself served food to saints and participants. Sadhus and devotees described this as a gesture of simplicity and service.
Youth breaks security cordon; questioned and Released
Midway through the march, a young man broke the security circle and moved toward Dhirendra Shastri. Security personnel stopped him immediately. Later, Shastri called him over and spoke to him. The man said he was a devotee, after which he was released.
A man dressed as Ravana sparks a notable Exchange
A man dressed as Ravana arrived at the yatra. Seeing him, Dhirendra Shastri said, “Come, Dashanan, how are you?” The youth replied, “Maharaj ji, by your grace, this Ravana is in the refuge of Lord Ram.”

Shastri responded, “It is Lord Ram speaking. He will not be killed. Look, Hindus… even the one with ten heads has come in support. You have just one head—come forward in support.”
Message of unity and respect for the nation and Army
In his address during the march, Dhirendra Shastri said, “Respect the nation and the Army. If there is no lamp, what will you do with the wick? If the nation survives, only then will caste matter. Wake up, Hindus… no caste is greater than religion.”
He urged people to stay away from casteism and unite as a community.
Celebrity presence draws Attention
On Saturday (Novemebr 8), former cricketer Shikhar Dhawan and the Kalki Peethadhishwar joined the march. Dhirendra Shastri sat on the ground and spoke with Dhawan. Later in the afternoon, WWE wrestler Dalip Singh Rana, known as ‘The Great Khali’, also joined the yatra and walked alongside Shastri.

On Friday (November 7), the presence of Rajabhaiya had also drawn attention.
