Violence in Bangladesh is currently at its peak. Meanwhile, several infiltrators from Bangladesh are illegally entering India. In the latest case from Kanpur in UP, the RPF and GRP arrested three suspected Rohingyas from the Northeast Sampark Kranti Express train.
Late Tuesday(December 23) night, the Kanpur RPF control room received an input from passengers. They reported that three suspicious individuals were travelling in the general coach of the Sampark Kranti Express, which was going from Assam to New Delhi. The passengers became suspicious because the dress and language of the three did not appear Indian. Moreover, some passengers told the police that it seemed as if the young woman was being taken forcibly.
As soon as the information was received, the RPF and GRP at Kanpur station went on alert. When the train arrived at the platform, the police began checking the general coach. Subsequently, two men and one woman were taken into custody from the spot.

Rohingyas From Myanmar Entered Through Bangladesh
The identities of the three detained persons later came to light. During questioning, disclosures were made that raised serious concerns for security agencies. The detained individuals admitted that they are Rohingya originally from Myanmar. First, they went from Myanmar to Bangladesh. Then, taking advantage of the ongoing violence and chaos there, they illegally crossed the border and entered Assam. After reaching Assam, they boarded a train bound for Delhi. Their plan was to reach Delhi and then travel onwards to Jammu. However, what is troubling security agencies the most is why Jammu was their final destination. The arrested individuals have been identified as Ibrahim, Asim, and a woman named Shaukat.
During RPF interrogation, accused Ibrahim stated that he had come to Assam around eight years ago and had worked as a labourer in Jammu and Kashmir. He also claimed that several of his relatives are spread across different cities in India. However, security agencies are not fully convinced by his claim of working only as a labourer.
