Ram Temple Flag-Hoisting on Nov 25: Auspicious 30-Minute Moment Set, 8,000 Guests to Attend Under Mobile-Free Protocol

-

The flag-hoisting ceremony at the Ram Temple on November 25 will be conducted with the same dignity as national celebrations like Independence Day. The process will follow Vedic traditions along with modern protocol during the auspicious time fixed between 11 am and 1:30 pm. Within this period, a special 30-minute slot from 12 to 12:30 pm has been chosen for unfurling the flag.

The most significant moment of the ceremony will be when Prime Minister Narendra Modi and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat hoist the flag, similar to the Independence Day ritual. The flag will be saluted amid Vedic chants. The sound of conch shells, drums, and traditional instruments will echo across the premises. As soon as the flag is hoisted, temple bells will start ringing throughout the complex.

The entire ceremony is being held with the same protocol observed during national festivals. Army officers will be present during the flag-hoisting procedure. The temple complex is being decorated with traditional flags, flowers, and lamps. Special arrangements for security, traffic, and the convenience of visitors have been made throughout the city.

PM Modi May Also Hold a Roadshow in Ayodhya

During his arrival for the November 25 ceremony, PM Modi may also conduct a roadshow in Ayodhya. A final decision will be taken once the SPG arrives on Monday or Tuesday and finalises the route from the airport to the Ram Temple.

The district administration has prepared two optional routes for the Prime Minister. The first is a 12-km road journey from the airport to the temple via Mahobra Bazaar. The second option is a helicopter ride from the airport to Saket College’s helipad, from where the temple is just 1 km away. All security and logistical preparations for both routes are underway. Three helipads at Saket College are now ready.

Senior administrative and police officers have already inspected both proposed routes several times. After the SPG’s arrival, one final route will be selected for the Prime Minister. Both lanes of the chosen route will be barricaded, and security personnel will be deployed on surrounding buildings during the movement of the convoy. A roadshow will also be approved only after SPG’s consent.

CM Yogi May Review Preparations on November 18

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath may visit Ayodhya on November 18 to review arrangements for the November 25 ceremony and PM Modi’s visit. He is expected to arrive after 1 pm.

CM Yogi will hold a review meeting with senior administrative and police officials inside the Ram Janmabhoomi complex. Office-bearers of the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust and public representatives will also attend. The Chief Minister will inspect the locations connected to the ceremony and issue instructions regarding the programme to be held in the presence of the Prime Minister and RSS chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat.

Guests Will Not Be Allowed to Carry Mobile Phones

Security has been further tightened at the Ram Temple, and a major decision has been taken by the trust and administration. Guests attending the flag-hoisting ceremony will not be allowed to carry mobile phones inside the premises. Initially, mobiles were permitted, but after the recent blast in Delhi, security agencies advised stricter measures. Following a joint review, mobiles have now been completely restricted.

Around eight thousand guests, including PM Modi, Mohan Bhagwat, CM Yogi Adityanath, and Governor Anandiben Patel, will attend the ceremony. The invitation letter earlier mentioned that guests could bring mobile phones, but this decision has now been reversed. All attendees must come empty-handed. Food and refreshments will be arranged by the temple trust.

Security agencies are on high alert. Additional metal detectors, dog squads, surveillance systems, new cameras, a high-tech control room, and extra security personnel are being deployed for 24×7 monitoring. Authorities have urged visitors not to carry mobile phones so that security, discipline, and smooth arrangements can be ensured throughout the temple complex.
