The sacred Panch Kosi Parikrama in Ayodhya commenced early on Tuesday at 4:02 AM amid the resonating sounds of conch shells and temple bells. As the auspicious moment arrived, lakhs of devotees gathered on the parikrama route and started the holy circumambulation of the sacred town, including the Ram Temple and Ram Lalla. The 15-kilometre-long spiritual journey marks the traditional and religious boundary of the Ram Temple area, believed to be scripturally significant. Over 10,000 saints and devotees from various monasteries and temples are participating.
Devotion at Its Peak
Ayodhya has transformed into a sea of devotion as countless pilgrims walk with deep faith, chanting “Jai Shri Ram” while moving forward on the sacred path. The atmosphere is filled with spirituality, hymns, and prayers. The parikrama, which began before dawn, will conclude on November 2 at 2:57 AM. Throughout the route, temples are conducting bhajan-kirtans, Ram naam sankirtan, and distributing prasad, enhancing the devotional energy across the holy city.
Grand Arrangements for Pilgrims
The district administration and police authorities are ensuring smooth arrangements for the massive influx of devotees. Security teams are using CCTV and drone surveillance to ensure safety and proper monitoring. Authorities have strengthened arrangements for drinking water, primary healthcare, cleanliness, lighting and route guidance. Health camps, sanitation teams, traffic personnel, and volunteers are active across the entire pilgrimage trail.
Devotees have expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the administration, praising the seamless arrangements and the peaceful atmosphere. Officers and security forces remain alert round-the-clock to ensure comfort and safety for every pilgrim.

Following the successful completion of the Chaudah Kosi Parikrama recently, the Panch Kosi Parikrama has further elevated the spiritual vibrance of Ayodhya. As per religious belief, completing this parikrama grants spiritual liberation, destroys sins, and purifies the soul, making it a deeply revered tradition among devotees.
